Today’s Pay it Forward Friday features Lori Alper, founder and editor of the popular blog GroovyGreenLivin.
Visualize with me for a moment that you’re at the beach {ahhh} Breathe in the salty air. Dig your toes into the warm sand. Feel the light breeze tangle through your hair. Spread white goo over every morsel of your body…wait what?
Sunscreen = The Hourly Buzzkill. Just ask comedian, Jim Gaffigan:
But what if you could cut the time in half and spray it on your screaming kids?
This is where Lori comes in:

What I will tell you is that spray sunscreen is not the answer.

More on Summer
It’s hard to believe that the 4th of July is right around the corner! Do you have any plans? One thing I’ve always wanted to do is experience fireworks on the beach.  There’s nothing better than awakening multiple senses at once ~ seeing the magnificent colors decorate the dark sky, hearing the waves crash against the shore, and feeling the mist of the ocean form a cool layer on your face. Lucky for us, there are a variety of beaches available for viewing fireworks this year. Click here for the 2013 Fireworks schedule in Cape Cod. Click here if you prefer Nantucket.
