I’m on the final days of posts from my Italian vacation.  I promise only a few more!!  I do hope you’ve enjoyed them. Thought I’d let you in on a little secret to make good use of your travel photos.

Some of you know I am a collage artist.  Well, you don’t need to be an artist to take some of your best photos and make them into a set of cards for your friends for the holidays. They’ll have such a personal touch and believe me when I say your pals will appreciate them.  How much do you love getting a handwritten letter these days-right!

  • Have 5 of your best shots made into 4” X 6” prints.  You could do this on your computer if you have a good printer.
  • Decide about your themes-Thank You, Miss You, General etc.
  • Gather together papers, magazines, elements to use in the collage along with some Modge Podge.
  • Purchase recycled card “blanks”{cards & envelopes} from a craft store. They usually come 50 to a pack.
  • Get Busy….

  • After the cards are all collaged, scan them onto your computer and either print out the finished product on photo paper or have them professionally made into photos.
  • Attach the photos to your cards {sign them in the bottom right had corner since you’ve channeled your inner artist} and viola-a gift from the heart!
