I’m on the final days of posts from my Italian vacation. I promise only a few more!! I do hope you’ve enjoyed them. Thought I’d let you in on a little secret to make good use of your travel photos.
Multiple Cappuccinos tell a good friend I miss her.
Some of you know I am a collage artist. Well, you don’t need to be an artist to take some of your best photos and make them into a set of cards for your friends for the holidays. They’ll have such a personal touch and believe me when I say your pals will appreciate them. How much do you love getting a handwritten letter these days-right!
Have 5 of your best shots made into 4” X 6” prints. You could do this on your computer if you have a good printer.
Decide about your themes-Thank You, Miss You, General etc.
Gather together papers, magazines, elements to use in the collage along with some Modge Podge.
Purchase recycled card “blanks”{cards & envelopes} from a craft store. They usually come 50 to a pack.
Get Busy….
Say Hello to the Good Life via Pienza
The Duomo in Sienna makes a nice all purpose card.
The Trevi Fountain in Rome sends Thank You Wishes
After the cards are all collaged, scan them onto your computer and either print out the finished product on photo paper or have them professionally made into photos.
Attach the photos to your cards {sign them in the bottom right had corner since you’ve channeled your inner artist} and viola-a gift from the heart!
