Boston Local Food Fest-Bring Your Appetite
Mark your calendars foodies, the Boston Local Food Festival is coming to the Ft. Point Channel waterfront on October 1st from 11-5pm. The zero waste event is free to the public and invites visitors to sample fresh local ingredients and food from our immediate area.
Farmers, chefs, fisherfolk and producers will be showcasing local sustainable eats. Fans of Bobby Flay’s cooking adventures will enjoy the Seafood Throwdown. Local craft brew producers will have a Tasting Tent {be on the lookout for tickets, as last year it sold out}, and backyard farmers can bring some of their own crop to be distributed to families in need through South Boston Grows and The Food Project. Presented by Sustainable Business Networks of Greater Boston, this years event promises to have something for everyone interested in supporting local and sustainable.
