13 To Look Forward To In ’13

Jan 2013
As we transition into this new year, there are lots of things to look forward to in the first six months. Travel is at the top of the list {for a change}, along with new partnerships, lots of Eco-tips, a host of local creatives, and some delicious food journeys that I’ve had in development.

January features coverage of the NY International Gift Show, their sustainability project and Eco friendly resources for home decor and handmade. A trip to NYC is always filled with loads of inspiration! We’ll also be looking at the beauty found inside winter gardens.

In February I have a surprise visit to a southern locale that might just leave you green with renvy and lots of heartistic Valentines to make your hearts go pitter pat.

It can’t be March without a visit to Florida and some final garden planning in anticipation of spring. There’s also a visit to a New England farm.

My passport is primed for April in anticipation of a long awaited trip to Nepal. Gardens, markets, sustainable farming, temples and handmade. The list for this one is endless. And if I’m lucky, there just might be a second country known for it’s happiness quotient tied to it for the final leg. Everything depends on my true blue traveling companion getting her trekking foot on the mend!

Daffodils will be in bloom when I return and that means the opening of Nantucket and island coverage. Lots of small batch artisan food makers lined up

Vintage, upcycled and antiques, oh my. Brimfield coverage, lots of blogging friends for a meet-up, what more could you ask for in May? Well how about the introduction of my next home accessories collection. Just in time for Mother’s Day….

Are we already to June? Phew, it’s all about Boston, local coverage, local shops, local features are what you can expect, with added posts about Nantucket, and the Islands constant quest to become more sustainable. In addition, I am hopeful I’ll be traveling to Toronto to attend a bloggers conference.

Off to a good start for the beginning of the year, I look forward to all of the opportunities and experiences that will be crossing my path! Share your plans for the first half of the year in the comments below-i’d love to hear what you are looking forward to.
